At the organic market meeting Isabelle and Miguel. Isabelle, French, makes wonderful quiches and tarts. Best quiche in SMA. Ron buying hat at the artisans' market from lovely ladies working for Mariposas San Miguel selling lovely bags, hats, etc. made by indigenous women from villages around SMA, to provide better living conditions, education, etc. for themselves and their families.
Aurelie and Mollie under the Arcos de San Miguel, at the bottom of the steps leading to our casitas. Pictures included of R. and A.'s casita. Italian restaurant where we'll go for pizza. Two mean looking hombres! Irwin and Audrey whom we met at the concert given by Pepe Romero at St. Paul's Church. The guys with the lovely lady at Hecho en Mexico Restaurant.
Wonderful dinner at Marissa's and Peter's house in SMA, and their friendly dog, Gino.
A visit to David and Kristina's sweet house in central SMA (Kristina gave us a very friendly welcome on our first outing in SMA at the Cumpanio Restaurant). She is a wealth of stories and David is a long-time resident in the area, painting the colors of SMA in his abstract art. Photos of them both and Kristina's beautiful grandmother from Norway.
Pictures at the churros y chocolate restaurant. Then at a wine bar showing a new way of handling wine tasting (do it yourself!). What an amazing place this is!
Note to Jer and Dave - CLAG well underway now. So happy to have people to play with here. Ron and Aurelie great players already!
